Yeah, I would use it, if it also runs on AU! It might not be the easiest
solution to spam. But I certainly prefer to keep all my email in one
place and then access it from anywhere via a variety of MUAs, at least for
archive searches.
The advantage to the keitai email is that it's push, not pull or poll.
I get the ring vibe patterns, songs, melodies, sounds, and pictures
immediately, according to who the email is from. So I wouldn't go totally
IMAP.
