Hi all,

I'm very sceptical about implementation of true iMode browser (not only
cHTML, but iHTML) and iMail by Siemens and Nokia. They need to comply to
Docomo specs. Do you have an online article where it is announced ?

Hi all,

Siemens and Nokia will havei-mode phones, but not a genuine i-mode
phone. I-mode and imail will be implemented on these phones, but not
Doja, MidP only.
Siemens S55 and Nokia 3650 are the two models to be i-modized ;)

Could you please copy the text of the article in a mail, apparently your
link goes to a subscription page, and the article is not reachable.

Anyway, I can say you that is not true. A mobile phone that support
cHTML
browsing is NOT a true i-mode phone. A true i-mode phone has to support
HTML
for i-mode (and not cHTML), and overall support i-mode e-mail (or
iMail).
And they will have to support DoJa as well (and not MIDP), in the
future. So
please check those three items before saying that it is an i-mode
phone...

Apparently, Siemens and - surprise surprise - Nokia will release an
i-mode
handset in europe. Anyone else hear about this?
