this may be one reason,; however also keep in mind that the ideal length of
video over KDDI's "3G" is 10-15sec due to max file sizes so hte type of
content will drastically be influenced.
Docomo's i-motion on the other hand, although have far less (1/9)
subscribers, can handle anwhere up to a few minutes so you ca start to get
"real shows". Like with anything in life, they both have their pros and
cons.
Re. ARPU, as it'll come down to popularity, and it becomes as popular as
shamail, then short videos clips whether downloaded, streamed , or sent via
email may become highly popular providing data costs are kept down.
