Yes, using the Decimal form between &# and ; for the emoji,
&#63698; gives you the emoji for "bar" (cocktail glass).

If you want to follow that by a number,
&#63698;1 should work.

Are your scripts inserting a newline? That could affect the display. In
other words,
&#63698;
1
might give a space on some phones, not sure.
