These games and services are usually set up to work through specific number
f.ex. 1234 versus your usual subscription number +55 555 555 555. Though I
do not understand much of the www.sheiya.com, it seems that they are using
#9500 for this particular game. Short numbers are usually not routed between
networks and not accessable from roaming partners. Trying to send msg to
numbers a la +86 9500 will probably not work. This is esp. true for
premium-rated short numbers.
To test the service that's set up for China Mobile network users you need to
have ability to:
a) send SMSs to CM net premium rated short number. This is what mtnsms.com
probably can not do.
b) receive SMSs that are sent from CM network to number that was associated
with your incoming SMS. This requires sms-routing agreement(s) between your
and CM mobile provider.
In nutshell I think your options to test Sheiya are:
- have someone to assist you in China - set up GSM device with CM simcard
physically in CM network (data card, connected to laptop in china, connected
to net, remotely accessable to you);
- in case you work in mobile telco - contact moxze, open your SMSC up to
them, let them put the game up in your network (I would guess they are
willing to cooperate);
