So, things are finally moving in Europe...

"The German operator's mobile Internet portal T-Motion will launch a package
of premium services in August priced 19.55 Marks ($8.80) a month, although
they will be free until November.

It will share up to half the revenues with its content providers, following
the business model of DoCoMo. While the mobile Internet has largely
disappointed European users, DoCoMo has persuaded people to pay for its
online i-mode service by encouraging content companies to offer high-quality
sites."

But seriously, how greedy is DT? - at least 50% cut of content revenue! Flat
rate pricing too... Any German content providers out there feeling
enthusiastic? Unfortunately, I've got a feeling other European operators
pondering similar business models will not be any more generous.

Cheers,

Daniel Helmer
