Keeping the same phone number is a plus. I don't think you can
do that in US here. But there seems to have some program to
have one number always. I haven't checked out if it is for
landline or mobile. But in general it is not likely.
In US, Sprint PCS has monthly plan and you can stop at any time.
Other wireless carriers don't seem to have this service.
