Both tracert and ping tools for i-mode are now available at X-9 for your
enjoyment.
So if you feel the need to trace your server on the train of have a client
complain the server is down while you're at your favourite 'nice date spot',
you can access them from the Net Tools section of http://www.X-9.com/ or
direct at http://www.X-9.com/tools/
tracert for i-mode is currently not using reverse DNS to resolve IP names as
this adds considerably to trace time (for little benefit IMHO) and has the
potential to push trace results well over 5k on even short traces and from
our server logs it seems people either don't want or don't know how to
increase their device cache size.
