Several people have asked about D2 communications and traffic on I-mode. I
recently visited D2 and they supplid me with the following and other
information:
D2 is running ads on a number of I-mode sites at 5 yen per page view. D2 and
the site divide this money. Some of these sites are obtaining more than 10
million page views per week and I-mode has a total of 4.5 billion page views
per month. clearly, advertising will become an important source of revenue
in I-mode.
