(keitai-l) Question on i-mode phone hardware interface..

Hello to all..

I started looking into i-mode 
yesterday morning so I don't
know a whole lot.

I certainly do _not_ have an i-mode
phone.. so.. it is difficult to
know if my following questions make
any sense..

I understand from my work collegues
that i-mode phones have a port
built-in which allows attachments
or peripherals to be built provided
such peripherals comply with some
interface technical specification..

My questions are: 

- Does this port really exist?  

- If it does, is it a standard port? 
(is it in all i-mode phones or
only in some)

- If this port does exist, are there
any tech specs I could go over?
Where could I find such specs?
