I agree here. I don't think NTT/iMode could have asked for better market
conditions to launch their service. Already possessing the bulk of the keitai
market, they were the first to the web-keitai market here, have a captive
keitai-loving/PC-averse society (relatively), and are able to charge a mint for
landlines; of course as keitai fees fell, keitai subscriptions would continue to
grow and succeeded land-line subscriptions.
