Does anybody on this list know what happened to the
French market research outfit called EGIS?

Andrea Hoffmann used to be an early participant on this
list and worked at EGIS for a couple of years, but now
the EGIS email bounces, and the
http://www. egis.co.jp
website gives an "address not found" error,
and
http://www.egisjapan.com/
has a place holder with advertisements from YAHOO/Overture.

Does this company still exist?
