Does anyone understand the current Softbank packet plans?
In the old days (last time I understood it):
The advertised unlimited packet services only applied to Vodafone/
Softbank Web and SMS/MMS
For the "real" internet you needed to use "Access Internet" and that
would drain your wallet rapidly.
From talking to friends, and looking at the "Unlimited Packet
Discount" page, it appears they actually have unlimited internet
access for ¥4200 a month. (http://mb.softbank.jp/mb/en/price_plan/upd/index.html
)
Is this true internet access? Why does it not apply to the older Nokia
phones?
Any insight Son-san's small-print would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Gavin
