They said a week before the announcement they still didn't have a name for
it. Someone came up with it one day (can't recall if they said how, but I
think it was something to do with being a high spec device) and they went
with it. I got the feeling they wanted to abbreviate to E-MON, but the full
name seems to have stuck. At least they saved some market research $$$.
