yes and no. I know a lot of the foreigners who have been working in
Japan for
10++ years, and I can tell you all are modest about their limits.
If it was so easy as you think - then Vodafone for example would have
easily
succeeded in Japan etc.

I don't know what you mean by lowest in the space. But I can assure you
that for a good understanding of the mobile industry, you must both
understand
the top level - eg DoCoMo's, KDDI's, SoftBank's strategy etc and also
what consumers want.
Understanding only one end of this scale e.g. only the street-level
is not
enough
