Yes.. Cingular ate some other carriers... but contrary to what they tell me,
my Cingular phone(s) had more dropped calles (every call was dropped) than
after I switched to Verzion... now I have almost no dropped calls.
Your page doesn't load very fast...It took over a minute to load.
Verizon:
http://aboutus.vzw.com/aboutusoverview.html
Customers 54.8 Million
Cingular:
http://www.cingular.com/about/company_overview
more than 54 million subscribers
I would say 54.8 million subscribers is more than 54 million.....
In any case they have about the SAME number of subscribers with Verizon presently in the
lead by a drop.
That page you linked to was out of date.
I think the reason Cingular subscribers have gone down is due to others (my friends has the same issue),
having too many dropped calls.... I don't know where Cingular gets all their marketing stuff from!
(Personally I dislike both Cingular and Verizon.... I haven't found a US carrier
I like yet).
