Hello -
1) You need to apply to KDDI to become authorised Brew Developer and
then gain access to register your handsets (test enable).
2) Then you need to apply to BREW to gain access to their developer
tools which include a test signature generator.
After that - you can test your brew apps on your appropriately test
enabled handset with a test signature.
Typically to gain this status you would need to be a bonafide developer
deploying applications in Japan. I've heard, though, that you may be
able to do this as part of Qualcomm's global developer initiative.
Another option is to find a currently registered developer test enable
your handset then provide you with test sigs. This may be tricky as
KDDI limits the number of handsets you can test enable.
Lastly - I don't think your 'my sync' cable will work. I've had best
luck with the SourceNext products. Their cable seems to work on most Au
handsets.
