Yours was not alone, there have been numerous predictions/rumors that
Softbank would buy VFKK. It's very natural prediction, since the TD-CDMA
testing was not giving the result Softbank wanted, and Japanese
government was not willing to give Softbank a 800Mhz frequency slot. The
"return" of Bill Morrow was only making the rumors going even wilder.
However, who knows whether a year ago Vodafone was really thinking that
it could revive its Japan operation or not..
Now if only Softbank can prepare us some great stuffs in time for
November's number portability lauching...
