I'm jumping in here a bit late and need to catch up on all the previous
postson this topic.
I'm also not one to promote the services of my company but since it's
relevant (and free) it makes sense to do so now.
My project WINKsite (http://winksite.com[1]) offers among other services a
mobile feed reader. We are currently testing the service over various
Japanese networks with various keitai's/mobile browsers. The feed content
paginates, should work on any recent model keitai/browser (and if not let us
know and we'll sort it out.) Support for Japanese character sets will be
available in future releases but if your looking for mobile access to
Englishlanguage news content I think we can help....
Note: For now you have to configure via desktop but from there on
access/manage via your phone. If any keitai list member needs any help
pleasecontact me off list for one-on-one support.

We also have a feed directory that you can use to easily subscribe to RSS
feeds from various high quality news sites. You can also enter any RSS feeds
of your own. That directory contain 1000s of HIGH QUALITY feeds in dozens of
categories.
