With all due respect -
The URL-plug Gerhard mentions for a company called "Appelsiini Finland
Oy" doesn't mention the company it is merely an unsubscribe link.
http://www.appelsiini.net/keitai-l/
A necessary part of running a list and in no way "commercial" in tone or
objective. Unless you're unsubscribing who would ever click on it?
Besides it's hardly noticible. I think Appelsiini should be recognized
for the great service they provide - never have I felt that they are
taking advantage or trying to benefit from the relationship. My data is
protected. I have never been spammed.
As far as Google mentions. The majority of the world "Googles" for info
(For anyone counting that's 2 plugs for Google in this sentence, opps
now 3). Just look at the traffic logs for any web site - which search
engine sends the most traffic to your site. You guessed it. ...but I
won't say it 'cause that would make 4 mentions. Have I ever noticed
"them" brought up in a "commercial" way? No. Not really. No more then
the need to mention a carrier when talking about that carrier.
As for the information vendors....
I don't find them as tolerable as Nick. Thay should chill with the
constant sales pitch.
Cheers,
Dave Harper
