I definitely got it to work as my children enjoyed playing J2ME games on the
TV recently! Only thing was this was in US so on NTSC output as opposed to
PAL which is a setting on the handset. Can't see how that could affect
things though.

I have a 902 and have indeed had the same thoughts as you. I never managed
to output anything else but images and videos but given that i demo mobile
apps to large audiences I was obviously interested in that possibility. I
will let you know if I manage to get anything working.
