"We looked at wireless data ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) for the
year 2004 for over 80 leading operators in over 35 countries to
identify leaders and trends and use the study to jot down lessons
learned from success stories."

Japan was the clear ARPU leader in 2004, followed by UK, with US and
Canada bringing up the tail.  (Though the latter two did win in the
"most improved" category.)

Within Japan, Docomo was the clear leader, followed by KDDI.
