As far as I understand, Nicolas is looking for a product that would take 
an image file and spew a QRcode that would carry the same information. 
When read, the phone would reconstruct the image.

Although theoretically possible, it doesn't make much sense for me. For 
what it's worth, here is a page[1] from DensoWave's site where they say 
that a single QRCode can bear max. 2,953 bytes. They don't say if the 
error resistance features deteriorate when we utilize the full capacity, 
but I would guess so. In 2.5k you can put a simple GIF or CCIT encoded 
b/w image, but then you'd need a way to display it on the phone.
