I'm not sure about the prepaid TU-KA phones, but I've used at least one
model that definitely does not understand XHTML. (Simple pages seemed to
work ok, but forms definitely did not.) This could limit the number of
sites you can use.
I'm not sure what decisions other companies have made about this, but at
tabemo.com we decided just to go with straight XHTML (which works fine
on Docomo, AU, Vodafone and most computer web browsers) and abandon the
TU-KAs, because it was just too expensive to support for such a small
part of our user base.
