As I see it 'Super3G' is mainly a talking shop that might feed into '4GPP'
- whatever that might be. After all, people did start talking about 3G 15
years or so ago. Vodafone's attitude to WiMax is 'nice idea, come back
when you've got a spec, then come back again when in works'.
Dressing it up as a fight might be reading too much into this - rather,
operators with 200m customers (and that's just Vod + DCM) aren't
especially interested in patiently waiting for whatever Intel is
graciously pleased to develop.
