When Flash 5 came out, it introduced ActionScript 1.0 which was
based on Ecmascript (same basis as JavaScript).
Flash Lite development is similar to Flash 4 development - which
does have a lot of scripting capabilities. You can do a lot more with
FLash Lite than just animation.
Flash Lite 1.1 is out on KDDI & Vodafone KK. Flash Lite 1.1 allows
the access of external data as well as swfs. You can build intelligent
apps which can access dynamic data as well as load and remove
external media assets embedded in swfs (graphics, text, audio, etc).
This can be done in a seamless fashion to the user as one Flash movie
can be loaded into another without interrupting the user experience.
