A lot depends on your clients logs if they have been offering mobile
(incl. HDML) services before.

Apart from the obvious savings in development cost, some arguments for
standardising on XHTML:

1. Every mobile sold by KDDI today includes support for XHTML
2. Every mobile produced by KDDI after the A1000, has supported XHTML.
OK this could be combined with point one but three points are always
better than two.

http://www.au.kddi.com/ezfactory/tec/spec/4_4.html (Japanese) has specs
on which mobile support what.

3. KDDI offers gateway translation of XHTML for legacy HDML mobiles. I
don't have any living A1000s but it would be interesting to see how
well it does this.

I'm not sure what Tuka is doing with gateway translation for their
legacy mobiles.
