So here's an interesting take on Darryl Green's resignation from Vodafone:

From this, it looks rather like he really did resign, rather than get
fired (which is what "resigning for personal reasons" usually means).
The more interesting thing, though, is the level of control that the
UK side might be trying to assert over the Japanese arm. Could they
be holding them back? For the company that basically made every phone
in Japan (and soon, probably every phone in the world) have a camera,
J-phone hasn't been doing much interesting, lately.
