Shares plunge knocks Nokia

Shares in Nokia dive after the world's largest mobile phone maker said 
sales and earnings declined in the second quarter due to strong 
competition for handsets.

Nokia's shares fell 15 percent shortly after announcing its 
second-quarter results. The company said sales would be weak for the 
rest of 2004.
