I guess you might have registered a new one, or they made a mistake when
inputting in your old one. Anyway, Vodafone should know it so perhaps they
can send it you via postal mail or issue a new one to you. Did you try
calling them?

I upgraded my Vodafone phone at christmas - sucked in by the trendy TV
apps! - but I can't for the hell of me use the secret number to delete
batches of server mail.
