Thanks for the list of the api's. I had checked them out before, but had a
little longer with the japanese 3.5 api. I don't read japanese, but from the
katakana it would appear that there's support for smf and mfi in 3.5.
1. can i play REAL AUDIO (speech) in smf or mfi provided by 3.5.
2. how do i record this audio. (my phone sh900i, has real sound in mfi's saying
"you've got mail" etc, but i have no idea how they did it).
3. does each manufacturer have their own api above the docomo 3.5 api specific
only to one phone. The main reason i want to know this is to see if i can
stream audio from the web, or at least download samples and play them.
any help with this would be REALLY REALLY appreciated.
I want to be able to play short real sounds (about 1 second in length) for use
in english education games. (longer is better). I'm happy to only use docomo
foma and 3.5 if that's all that has support on docomo. I'll consider porting to
au and jphone depending on the success of the application on foma.
