> the OQO is small enough to fit into a jacket pocket.
Return of the OQO. Originally a Linux device scheduled for late 2002, now
scheduled for late 2004. Perhaps they could bundle it with Doom III. Pricing
point around $2000. Well, I'd like one, but I don't actually think it will
ship anytime soon.
Written in April 2002, when it had turned into a Windows device: "...the OQO
device, which will come out in the second half of the year for around
$1,000, is a complete Windows XP computer. Along with Windows, it will come
with a 5800 Crusoe processor from Transmeta, a 10GB hard drive, 256MB of
memory, connection ports for FireWire and USB (universal serial bus), and
wireless networking connections through either WiFi or Bluetooth."
What will ship first, the OQO or the Sony Vaio VGN-U70? (Hint: the VGN-U70
is due out on Saturday.)
