A very good way to show this is to compare a recent 2 mpx cameraphone
to an few years old, 2 mpx Canon Digital Ixus. Only one of the
produces images that are reasonably fine for decent prints.
The camera manufacturers are also playing the megapixel game. And the
in-depth camera reviews show that the actual picture quality has not
improved when a camera has been "upgraded" from e.g. 4 to 5 mpx.
