This is an interesting point but I still think that how you consume
music vs video
is very different:

Time: Music tunes are shorter than full movies (Maybe there will
be different video formats)

Context: While on the move you usually have much shorter time. While
you listen you can walk, while you watch to video you can not move a
the same time.

Real time: While on the move there is a lot of value in accessing
content Anytime Anywhere. So realtime access is an important value
factor.

Display and quality: You need a decent display to watch a full movie
or you get seek soon. Also video quality must be acceptable (This is
why I do not use Divx much)

So, while on the move, as for any mobile service different content
makes sense in the mobile context.

So, personally, I really would like to see:

- Phones bringing me real time news or short clips and TV that makes
sense while on the move
- Portable media-players to listen to music , previewing clips and
photos on a display, watching photos and clips on a (video out) TV in
their full glory (The new iPod?). This could merge by the end in a
advanced handsets.

Cheers

Giovanni
