Is this US vs EU?

Intel Moves to Wireless USB to replace Bluetooth

With the announcement, at the Intel Developers Forum, the succession to
bluetooth is open. The new Ultrawideband standard will feature speeds
similar to USB 2.0 and Firewire (480 Mbps) while being more user
friendly than bluetooth. The standard is intended to replace virtually
any cable used today in any device connection.

 From Intel Press Release:

"Wireless USB personal connectivity will bring the convenience and
mobility of wireless communications to high-speed interconnects for
multimedia consumer electronics, PC peripherals and mobile devices. The
Wireless USB interface will deliver the benefits of high-speed wireless
connectivity, security, ease-of-use and backward compatibility to
customers."
