This is probably splitting hairs, but in the interests of fullness:
The pickup in the D505 is 0.6 megapixel. It's one of FujiFilm's Super CCD
pickups in which the pixels resemble a honeycomb pattern rather than a
square grid. The 0.6 megapixel image from the pickup is then stepped up
with software to 1.23 megapixels.

Three 505s (F, D, SO) have (1.23) megapixel cameras
Three 505s (N, SH, P) don't have megapixel cameras (instead: 0.3-0.79
Mpixel)
