Nokia is also selling a version of the 6650 handset that's not SIM-locked,
but it's more expensive than the version that will be available from
Vodafone. The Nokia-direct version is available at Narita Airport and
Tokyo City Air Terminal, as well as online. I haven't had much problem
with connections, but I haven't used it that much outside a tiny swath of
central Tokyo.
