part of the usage equation =3D with an attachable camera the user needs =
to make a conscious decision to take it with them, which requires them =
to think ahead to when they might need it. With an embedded camera the =
user only needs to remember that the functionality is on something they =
already carry. However, even then don't assume users have a high =
awareness of what they carry at any given time - having a camera =
embedded in a phone is not the same as it being considered for use when =
the situation arises.
The (difficult) trick is to make the embedded or detachable camera part =
of the daily routine, which is where the user research come in...
