Very safe. Pope trivia (not sure how long ago this was) - 40% of
Vodafone UK's contract customers have never used their voicemail. My
understanding is that almost all SMS traffic comes from less than 25% of
subscribers. But on the other hand, you still want your grandmother to
have a shamail handset, just so you can send *her* pictures...

Subject: (keitai-l) Sha-mail activity
Hello everyone,
I see that the number of Sha-mail handsets in use has topped 10 million.
= This sounds a great achievement but with all new J-Phone handsets
being = Sha-mail enabled, J-Phone subscribers could just upgrade their
handsets = and not actually send any picture messages. I wonder what you
reckon how = many of that 10 million actually actively use Sha-mail
picture messaging = (at least once a month) and how often. Is it safe to
assume that the % = active base has in the last 18 months been
decreasing over time?
Cheers
James
