Hi,
There are some difference in the spanish i-mode launching than other
countries, because Telefonica Moviles will not use the i-Mode brand and
will integrate the i-Mode services in the e-mocion menu. E-mocion
(www.e-mocion.com) is the Telefonica Moviles brand to their internet
movil services. The clients will not know if the are acceding i-mode
services or wap services, because the mobile phones available in the
spanish market (specially designed by Nec, Mitsubishi and Nokia) will
have a dual browser (i-Mode/Wap).

TOKYO, JAPAN, June 25, 2003 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. said today that
Telefonica Moviles Espana, S.A. has announced it will introduce
i-mode(R), the service developed by DoCoMo, to the Spanish market
beginning June 26, 2003. Spain marks the seventh market for i-mode
service, which is already available in Japan, Germany, the Netherlands,
Taiwan, Belgium and France....
Telefonica M. is the largest EU partner to date and the only market
leader, of a big EU market, to have joined i-mode.
Telefonica Moviles 2002 users:
Total including South America: 41.4 million
Spain: 18.4 million 55% market share
