There are games especially designed for the Sony Jog Dial, but they
increase the biggest problem of it: it wears out pretty fast and
renders the phone almost unusable. I never saw the problem on 'normal'
buttons and we have even a N501i in use here (4 years old).

I agree with you (even *I* don't work for any of Sony's companies)
that the SO505i is the coolest phone with the biggest show off factor,
but in daily life situations it's just not up to par.

Maybe I am a power user of phones, but the daily life treatment of
dropping, sitting down with the phone in the back pocket, scratching
it on the wall, dropping it again, flipping it on and off a hundred
times a day etc, makes the Sony the last choice for me. For sure it
will not survive such a treatment for a long time. And the show off
factor is also dangerous...at the exhibition you could see endless
people try to open or close the phone the 'conventional' flip type
way. This will crack fast.
