smart phones and PDAs, what do you really mean?
what I could think of goes down to the elements,
- CPU:
smart phones: ARM (Qualcomm, F505i?), SH (F504i, A5303H, A5305K)
PDAs: DragonBall, ARM, XScale
- OS:
smart phones: Symbian/Nokia, Palm, Microsoft, Linux?
PDAs: Palm, Microsoft, Linux
- air interface:
smart phones: GSM, cdma, PHS; Bluetooth, IR
PDAs: GSM, cdma, PHS, WLAN; ...
cf. IP phones: WLAN; ...
what make difference:
- display size, QVGA? (probably not)
- keypad, touch-screen? (probably ... not)
- size, weight? (not sure)
- "PDA" software?
- built-in integrated mobile cellular air interface? (this?)
- or ... manufacturer?
