dear keiai-lovers,

I would like to draw your attention to the recent article I
published on http://www.mobiliser.org/article?id=49 about
how mobile Instant Messaging and Email will ultimately kill
the killer apps SMS and MMS.

the good thing about SMS and MMS is its standard-based
interoperability between all GSM and increasingly CDMA operators.

yet, in Japan it looks like you have problems with exchanging
email with attachments between wireless webs.

I would like to find out how IM and Email are doing now
in terms of price and interoperability in Japan, too.

do you agree that offering mobile messaging basicly for free
was/is a good teaser to attract new users to mobile Internet
services.

most i-moders I met during my recent trip to Japan are
using mostly Email.

looking forward to your comments, Jan.
