Hi there,
The phone is the AU Global Passport model. It works in Canada, US, Hawaii,
Korea, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Unfortunately the thing doesn't let you browse or get your email. Why
doesn't it work? Its just borrowing the network when its down there, and
whatever company's network that its using isn't hooked into the same servers
as they are over here in Japan... or something.
Anyway, I basically had no problems except when I was in Canada, and it
worked in the country but not in the city. Go figure.

Hello All,
Sorry if this is off topic. I don't live in Japan and this list is the
only place I know where it's all about Japanese wireless.
Does anyone know which Japanese wireless service has roaming in the US?
I remember a friend that used his phone in Hawaii, but I don't remember
which carrier :(
Also, can you use other features while roaming ... Like email, site
browsing?
Out of curiosity ... Why does it work / not work.
