Is there such a thing as a hex editor for text email? my phone has the
ability to directly type in a S-JIS code (P504)... this is probably
different from inline typing in &#xxxx.
There are a couple of web applications that deal with emoji, such as
softbank's emoji para. perhaps they have a form where you can send on to a
phone by email...which would imply it works. I recall some diff between the
jphone and docomo interfaces, perhaps cos of the problem above.
how about a java app that lives inside the phone? I know java can launch the
browser (at least on 504) maybe it can also launch the mail client with a
prefilled message (much like those web apps)
