this is a tough question, but maybe it's not
really one you can find an answer to.
who has more power, the music labels that
produce music or the radio stations that
broadcast it?
the radio stations that aggregate content or
the networks that broadcast it?
the internet content providers or the
companies building the infrastructure?
i believe that it's some sort of a symbiotic
relationship, both parties need each other.
still, i would guess docomo has more
negotiation power. as an indicator i would see
the 9% service fee that docomo is still able to
collect although ALL content providers have
been trying to push it down for years.
