That is the key point everyone is wondering about. I think we simply
can't really know whether consumers will like them or not as long they
haven't been "exposed" to Japanese phones. How can you tell your
preference if you don't know what the alternative would be? How many
people in Germany can have a clear idea of the difference between i-mode
and WAP until they played with an i-mode phone?
Successes of Samsung in Australia show that the dominant brand name is
important but not everything.
