Quick time just refers to the format of the audio/video clip..
Quicktime format has been adopted by MPEG-4, so in future if Docomo wants
to have streaming content which is MPEG-4 compliant (as indicated by all the
standardisation bodies), then they should adopt Quicktime at some point and
not ASF (as currently used in i-motion).
again this is a question in how proprietary each operator wants to make
theirservices. Might be worth investigating what docomo is planning in
future.
