The thing is, if it were open source (as originally claimed), you could
actually contribute patches, without feeling like you were just helping
someone else make money off your effort.
If it were open source, releasing it for only the most popular browser
would actually be a strategic masterstroke: offer what makes it work
for most people, and leave the rest of the picture for others to color in,
according to their browser of choice.
Instead, we have this take-it-or-leave-it proposition. It's not a
matter of "looking a gift horse in the mouth." This horse was billed
as one thing, but delivered--hobbled--as another. I'm not keen
to bother IntaDev employees on this count, however, since they
did not make these claims themselves, to my knowledge.
