2 things of special interest in the article Christian mentions:
1) inxight's "Star Tree" (used to be "hyperbolic browser"
but how geeky can you get?). I've often thought this
would be a cool way to enter addresses in Japan, where
everything is so hierarchically nested. Do the demo.
I've been doing that demo for years, and wondering,
Why don't people get on the stick and start *using*
this technique?
2) This is the first article quoting David Gelenter that I've
ever seen that *doesn't* mention him getting blown up
by the Unabomber. Someone should send him a note
of congratulations.
